We had a very nice Thanksgiving, camping in the woods with our two dogs. We stayed at Devil's Fork State Park in South Carolina, on the shores of Lake Jocassee. We are hoping to go back for one last camping trip before Winter, sans dogs, in two weeks. The lake was beautiful, and it's both of our newest favorite spot. Just three hours from Charlotte, it's completely accessible for a weekend jaunt away from civilization.
